President Barack Obama on Trayvon Martin

March 23, 2012
President Barack Obama talks about the case, an indication of how much it has captured national attention. Obama says that if he had a son he would look like Trayvon Martin, and that the case reminds him of his two daughters. He vows to make sure investigators get to the bottom of what happened.

Meanwhile, a lawyer for Zimmerman, Craig Sonner, tells CNN that his client is not racist and that he acted in self-defense. Sonner said the facts of the case would eventually show that.

President Barack Obama is seen here in Washington answering a reporter's question about the case.
